What makes this consultation different
We investigate the cause, not just the symptom
Low iron can have many different causes — from diet to undetected bleeding.
Evaluation of every possible cause
Iron, B12, or folate deficiency, chronic disease, or hemolytic causes — each requires a different approach.
Second opinion when iron isn't working
If you've already tried supplements with no improvement, we review what may have been missed.
In person or by video call
The same quality of care, wherever you are.
Is this consultation right for you?
Signs that warrant an evaluation:
Fatigue that interferes with daily life
Feeling exhausted even after a good night's sleep can be the earliest sign of anemia, well before other symptoms appear.
Paleness in the skin, gums, or inner eyelids
It's one of the most visible physical signs of anemia, and often the first clue that something isn't right.
Shortness of breath with effort that didn't used to cause it
When the body has fewer red blood cells carrying oxygen, everyday activities can feel harder.
Dizziness, frequent headaches, or cold hands and feet
These symptoms, along with fatigue, are part of the typical anemia picture and deserve a complete evaluation, not just supplements.
A practice built over time, one patient at a time.

Close, attentive care, with the rigor of the best Hematology practice.

Causes of anemia we investigate
Not all anemia is treated the same way — identifying the correct cause is what determines whether treatment actually works.
Iron Deficiency
The most common cause of anemia, generally related to diet, blood loss (including heavy periods), or difficulty absorbing iron.
Vitamin B12 or Folate Deficiency
Less well-known than iron deficiency, but just as important — it affects how the body produces healthy red blood cells.
Anemia of Chronic Disease
Occurs when another health condition interferes with normal red blood cell production, even with normal iron levels.
Hemolytic Anemia
Occurs when the body destroys red blood cells faster than it can produce them, often due to autoimmune or hereditary causes — a less common cause, requiring a different diagnostic approach than iron deficiency.
