My Story

A career built across four countries.

Medical training with a Latin American vision

Dr. Valvert began her path in medicine in Cuba, at one of the most respected medical institutions in Latin America, with rigorous clinical training and a humanistic approach that defines how she treats every patient to this day.

Vall d’Hebron: where Europe sends its most difficult cases

Between 2007 and 2013, Dr. Valvert specialized at Hospital Universitario Vall d’Hebron in Barcelona, one of the leading oncohematology reference centers in Europe. There she trained in clinical hematology, cytogenetics, and bone marrow transplant — the same institution where the cases other centers cannot treat are resolved.

Master’s degree in transplant at the highest academic level

She completed her Master’s Degree in Bone Marrow Transplant at the University of Valencia, deepening her expertise in the most advanced autologous and allogeneic transplant protocols that she applies today with her patients in Guatemala.
